Our goal is to describe every teapot clearly and consistently so that customers can make an informed decision.

How we describe a teapot

We use the available photographs and product-specific records to describe clay, shape, capacity, craft method, firing, product number, artisan attribution and visible markings. When information is supplied by an artisan or source, it is presented as attribution rather than independent laboratory certification.

What is included

Only items explicitly shown or stated on the product page are included. A certificate, artisan card, gift box or other accessory should not be assumed unless the listing specifically mentions it.

Review before ordering

Please review all product images and details. Color can vary between screens, and the dimensions or capacity of a handmade fired-clay piece may be approximate. Natural texture, firing marks and small variations are not necessarily defects.

Request additional details

If you would like a close-up of the base seal, interior, lid, spout or another detail, contact us before ordering and include the product name or SKU. We will provide the information available for that specific teapot.

If something is not as described

If the item you receive materially differs from its listing, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs so we can review the issue and provide next steps.
